National Model Contest April 17th, 2009 Customers are encouraged to bring their best completed models of cars, aircraft, military vehicles and more for a National Model Contest. The event is hosted by Osprey Publishing and HobbyTown USA stores across the country. The Arnold HobbyTown USA will select winners in a variety of model catefories including Passenger Vehicles, Aircraft, Military, Miscellaneous, Diorama and more. Registration 10am - 3pm Judging 3pm - 5pm Awards 5:30pm -6pm Pickup after 6pm by 8pm Entry Fees are $3.00 for the first entry in each category and $1.50 for additional entries in the same category. The top winners move on to the National Model Contest, competing against winners from all other HobbyTown USA stores. |

We are looking for your group!HobbyTown USA in Arnold is looking for gaming groups that want to get together and play at least once a week in the store and get new people involved in the game. We can host Friday Night Magic just provide someone to run the game and we will complete the registration with DCI. Maybe your group wants a place to play Warhammer? We will provide the game board for you to build to play. Enjoy trading cards for Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh bring your group by for a large area to play and trade. Train Modelers needing a place to meet? We have plenty of space for your group. We have a blank train board and plenty of N scale materials to build it if you are looking for the opportunity to teach techniques or planning to others. Modeling clubs are more than welcome to use the space to host a Make N Take and we will even provide the kits. Just let us know what you have in mind. |
